Louis Vuitton presented Time Capsule, a journey through the history of the Brand, revisiting fundamental innovations in technology and design. From the Maison's origins in 1854 to the present day, the story was told through exceptional and celebrated objects, selected from the Louis Vuitton archives.
Time Capsule demonstrated the ways in which Louis Vuitton has always anticipated the needs and desires of a changing world for more than 160 years. As advances in means of transport accelerated our movements around the world, Louis Vuitton continues to meet the challenges posed by its customers with imaginative and ingenious creations.
The exhibition followed a visual chronology through essential moments in Louis Vuitton's history, focusing on six aspects:
The Maison's codes, those distinctive symbols dating back to the first Louis Vuitton boots.
Travel around the world, revealing how Louis Vuitton meets the needs of new means of transport.
Elegance in motion, showing how Louis Vuitton enables its customers to travel in style.
The icons of the House, a selection of Louis Vuitton's most memorable and emblematic creations.
Magic Malle or Magic Trunk, the symbol of the House, the origin of everything.
Artisans, a live demonstration by Louis Vuitton artisans.
